Excuse Letter for Boil

Dear HR,

I'll be missing work today, I will be having this really large pus-filled boil drained at outpatient services. I am on antibiotics and painkillers already, but my doctor insists on having a procedure done. It will require stitches to keep the skin in place and I would need some bed rest for a day or two.

Excuse letter for Abscess

Dear Boss,

I know you've all notice my swollen face since last week, and its gotten much worse I'm afraid. I have a mouth sore that's bigger than a marble now and completely infected. My doctor says it needs to be incised and properly undergo discharge care. This is an outpatient procedure to drain the abscess. I'm glad the company has health coverage, though I'll be missing work for a few days until my face goes back to normal. However, if you any concerns about my work, I will reply to any of your emails.

I will file a proper leave after my medical procedure.
