Missing work while on field duty? Let HR know about it
Dear HR,
I am outside of Vancouver on field assignment and its raining sideways instead of down. No long drives back to town today - very sad to say this, but I'll be missing office work for two days, until flights and roads are lit. I get back Wednesday. Please do not mark this as an absence and make a pay cut - I am on the job and my supervisor John approved of this trip on behalf of the company.
