Late again? Here's an excuse letter for missing an important event:
Dear Martha,
I am late today due to the horrible traffic. Though its inexcusable to run late for our meeting, its the good honest truth.I left home 3 hours early, but it seems everyone had the same idea to hit the road by 5pm. Really sorry.

Sorry for Showing Up Late Letter
Dear Melba,
Sorry for showing up late. People know me as a punctual person and this has never happened before. This morning's traffic was just awful. Thank you for having the gift of patience.
Hope these doughnuts make up for the wait.
Cheers,
Evan

Telling People You're Coming in Late
Dear Jill,
My car is being repaired at the shop downtown.
I'm looking for a quick way through midtown now
and more or less, I'll be 15 minutes late for the meeting.
Please proceed without me.
See you,
Sam

Do Not Be Late for Meeting Letter
Dear Marketing people,
The boss will meet with all of you tomorrow at 1 pm at the South Hall conference room. She has another appointment at 2:30pm so please do not be late. Please notify the secretary her secretary
if you are held up or not coming at all.
Last time you asked for a meeting, not only were a lot of you late, but didn't even bother showing up. And please do not just send a department representative, because the boss is not sending a rep. Do the courtesy of personally attending if you want to keep your jobs.
Regards,
Kevin
