Dear Flint,

I received your submission last Friday and I felt the opening was too aggressive. The words needed to be more subtle. And I think this one which you just sent through email is better than the first two. I've edited it slightly, but altogether it is very good. I'm passing back to you for some finishing touches. Send it back within the day.
