Excuse Letter for Ear infection

Hello Supervisor,

I'm afraid I cannot come to work today, I have an ear infection and dry throat pain that is flu-like for three days now. I really need to see the doctor today to get some prescription for this. The pain is no longer tolerable, I can no longer chew or swallow my food. I will update you about my condition after my doctor's visit and file a proper medical leave.
