What to say to a guest after their visit? Keeping in touch might not be that hard:

Dear Sarah,

Good to hear you got home safely and had a great time with us! It was wonderful to meet you and get to know such an interesting person like you!

Hopefully you could visit Michigan again and we could go see the duck parade and other fauna in the area. If it weren't for other pressing matters, my folks could have taken you to the lake. But just looking at your FB and all the photos you've taken. I guess we did pretty well cruising through the sights nearby.

Thank You Letter for Coming to my Child's Birthday Party

Thank you so much for coming to my daughter's 8th birthday. I hope you enjoyed the party as much as she did! And a big thank you to Julie's grandparents for making this party possible.

Julie had the most wonderful time and she will definitely have lasting memories of how great turning 8 can be. BTW all the presents and well-wishes are awesome!
