Dear Supervisor,
Due to unexpected emergency at home, I will be leaving the office after lunch hour. My wife needs me to take her to the doctor, she is alone at the moment and has suffered an injury that requires my care and assistance. She has unfortunately slipped on the bathroom floor and the spill is causing her hip great pain.
Please note that I have filed all my due reports before the lunch hour and I'm leaving the tasks for the day under my assistant's watch. Sarah will report anything crucial to you throughout the day.
