Sample Letter Informing Client of New Price when previous Quotation has Expired

Dear Burke,

Thank you getting in touch again with Pennylane Software Providers.

I think I’ve mentioned that there has been a change in our pricing structure since you last ordered the Software Weenie Version 3 Plus from our company three months ago.

Our current price for the said software is now 500 euros, payable upon invoicing. It is no longer the previous amount of $300- unfortunately we can no longer extend the same price rate for your area.

To put this increase in perspective, it is helpful for you to know that we have received greater price increases from almost every software data industry supplier. We have found it necessary to adjust certain prices to meet the increased costs associated with industry regulations and taxes.

Inspite of this, Software Weenie has continued to be the forerunner in database management. It is still the prime robust software your company can trust.

So you can see for yourself the necessity of this price adjustment, attached is the current price rates from all the software providers in the area. You may notice that we have worked keenly to keep prices as low as possible while offering the highest quality software product.

This new quotation is open for 90 days from the date of this email. After that time, we reserve the right to review our pricing structure.
