Taking your maternity leave from work before and after the birth of their child is a right of a regular employee. Know more about your company policies by filing your leave early.
Dear HR Officer,
I intend to have my paid Maternity leave on September 1-September 30, 2015. I am having a CS birth on so my post-recovery will take longer than the normal child birth process. Please see attached medical certificate from my OB-GYNE.
Please let me know by October 15 that all the necessary requirements I have filed for this Maternity Leave have been approved.
