Happy New Year Letter to Boss: Thank You letter Supervisor

Can't find the right words to say to your boss without sounding like a suck-up? Try by saying thank you and looking back to a good year of hard work. Here's an appropriate letter for a boss or supervisor:

Dear Boss,

Its been a good year of working together. I would just like to take the time to thank you and wish you happy holidays!

As you know I'm being reassigned to another office, so let me take this opportunity just to say a few things at hand. Things that I would say has made my stay at the South branch a successful endeavor.

Thank you for always being on point with site issues, your direct no-bull and no-nonsense approach keeps us on our toes, all the while having genuine consideration for our lives beyond the office walls. Its this kind of work-life balance mindset that makes us appreciate being this department under your wing.

As always, never lose your sense of humor and good luck with the next team coming in. Wish you the best for 2016!

Resolving Work Problems letter

Dear John,

Our North facility is in the middle of some major management changes
we plan to transfer some key department heads to different divisions.
Also, a new shift schedule has been implemented for the per-hour wage employees
which unfortunately is causing the discord. Yes, this group is off to a bad start,
they are upset with the changes.

We need you to streamline production back to 100% and keep half the hourly-wage earners from going on strike with their unions. Please present to me by Monday your plan-of-action, we will forward your recommendations to the facility manager. We are keen in resolving this as soon as possible.

Best Regards,
Ted
