Thank You Letter to the Organizers of Annual Event

Often certain companies or groups would like to extend their thank-yous to event organizers through an open letter published at a local daily. Newspapers usually feature such letter of commendations under the community news. This is a good example of such a letter expressing their gratitude towards a collaborative effort:

From:[Name]

Greetings!

I wish to commend [Company A] and [Company B] for enthusiastically collaborating once again to stage another [event] this year.

The resoundingly successful [Event] held last year certainly warranted a follow-up. And the good news is that this year, the event's organizers have decided to not just replicate their feat but outdo themselves as well. They have accomplished this by enhancing this [event] with conferences at the [place] where there are greater concentration of enthusiasts, in an effort to allow more of them to benefit from this initiative.

I would also like to profusely thank the organizers who spearheaded this event for heeding our call to be partners in promoting [insert cause].

By providing [Company] with your vigorous support and continued assistance in the crucial areas of [insert cause], our goal of creating [insert goals] by [date] remains nothing short of attainable.

May this event be another fruitful success.

Sincerely,
Letterbarn

This is a sample use of the letter:

I wish to commend Blue Cross Medical and St. Peter's Blood Bank for enthusiastically collaborating once again to stage another Community Blood Drive this year.

The resoundingly successful "Give Blood, Give Love" held last year certainly warranted a follow-up. And the good news is that this year, the event's organizers have decided to not just replicate their feat but outdo themselves as well. They have accomplished this by enhancing the Community Blood Drive with free First-Aid Lessons for the youth at the local college where there are greater concentration of volunteers, in an effort to allow more students to benefit from this initiative.

I would also like to profusely thank the organizers who spearheaded this event for heeding our call to be partners in promoting Volunteerism and Blood Donations.

By providing the community of San Diego with your vigorous support and continued assistance in the crucial areas of blood letting, our goal of creating an updated and healthy, well-screened blood bank by 2011 remains nothing short of attainable.

May this event be another fruitful success.

Sincerely,
Letterbarn
