Reply About Revisions Letter

An editor sends his staff writer his list of revisions in this letter

Dear Flint,

I received your submission last Friday and I felt the opening was too aggressive. The words needed to be more subtle. And I think this one which you just sent through email is better than the first two. I've edited it slightly, but altogether it is very good. I'm passing back to you for some finishing touches. Send it back within the day.

Regards,
Rupert

Sample Request Letter: Keeping Workspaces Clean

Hello People,

We know that you have been very busy with various projects but will all the paper and cut-outs, we should still be able to maintain cleanliness in our respective workareas.

We have provided extra trash cans near your desk area, so do tidy things up. Let's be considerate with the clutter and keep our office very conducive for working.

Thanks,
Jim

Emergency Leave Letter: How to Leave Work Early

Dear Boss,

I don't feel quite well today. I barely made it to the office, but I've been here for a few hours now and I feel like I can't stay and work. I have been throwing up since this morning. I will file for a sick leave, now and hopefully will be well for work tomorrow.

What a way to start the new year :(

Notice of Leave Options Letter

Dear Employees,

Please be advised as stated in our Employee handbook which option you wish to exercise regarding your remaining earned vacation leaves.

1. First Option – An employee may commute to cash any earned and unused leaves not exceeding 10 days. Please note that any earned and unused leave beyond 10 days will be forfeited as you are only given one option.

2. Second Option– An employee may carry over any earned and unused leave credits only up to the 1st quarter of the year.

Failure to submit your leave options by the end of the week will be assumed that the employee does NOT wish to convert to cash his remaining leaves and will carry it over up to the 1st Quarter of this year. A summary of your remaining leaves will be sent to your respective supervisors within the week. Please note that conversion to cash will be credited to your individual account this coming April payroll payout.

Any clarification, please do not hesitate to talk to us.

Thank you

Regards,
Management
